What are the beach rules for fishing in Egmond?

Summer: fishing with rod and line is permitted only within activity zones
Winter: fishing with rod and line is permitted everywhere. Fixed nets and lines are only permitted between km-posts 36. and 39.5 (Egmond aan Zee) and between 40.25 and 41.0 (Egmond Binnen) There are two periods for which different periods apply; The Summer period runs from 1st May until 1st October. The Winter period is from 1st October until 1st May. The beach is also divided into zones according to use and or permitted activities. These zones are indicated by boards on the beach. |
